Culinary Workshops | Instagram Favourites

We'd love you to join us for a very meaty evening.  Food, Flavours, Stories & More......... From 6.30pm for a 7pm start, Thursday 4 July! Over the course of the evening we will be serving three courses with matched beverages that celebrate the best of NZ primary produce.

Kathy Paterson is one of New Zealand's most influential food media talents. Her latest book Meat and Three is filled with traditional food memories that are given a modern twist. It is about real food that comes from a quality environment and that values a sense of community over convenience.

'In recent times there has been a disconnection between urban and rural communities, but there is so much to be gained by reconnecting with the farms that produce our food. Farmers and producers are hard-working and committed, and are striving to grow the best possible products while taking care of the precious ecosystem.'

Hannah Miller-Childs is A Lady Butcher. Born in Portland, Oregon, she is a New York trained chef and butcher who has worked in some of the world's best restaurants. Hannah is passionate about nose-to-tail cookery - any waste is an insult to the animal.  From doing butchery in restaurants she developed a passion for charcuterie and curing which is the heart of her business.  As A Lady Butcher, Hannah's focus is Purposeful Meat -  to create beautifully cured and preserved meat in New Zealand from ethically raised animals, which she supplies to top restaurants and retail stores throughout the country.

Please note that we will be serving meat, dairy and gluten containing products and unfortunately due to preparation limitation we are unable to accommodate any special dietary considerations at this event.
