Baking by the Good Bitches of Aotearoa Mahi Pēkena Māreikura is the ultimate collection of Kiwi favourites, guaranteed to deliver something sweet for everyone. Comfort food and manaakitanga have never felt more necessary, or natural, than over the past year or so. Sharing baking in person hasn’t always been possible, but sharing recipes continued, so we thought, what better way to spread kindness and continue sharing than a new recipe book. To celebrate Kindness Week 2021, we have teamed up with some of our favourite Kiwis to create this collection of recipes from the hearts and homes of Aotearoa. With a beautiful foreword by Robyn Malcolm, Mahi Pēkena Māreikura is a collection of recipes from across New Zealander featuring bakers like Drs Siouxsie Wiles and Ashley Bloomfield, Dames Jools and Linda Topp, BENEE, Jo Seagar, Gemma MacCaw, Karen Walker, Peta Mathias, and of course some of our own Head Bitches. As well as the recipes, there are introductions from many of our contributors and stories from some of our recipient organisations.
