Little cakes are a new trend in cafes and restaurants. Rather than the big muffin or slice of cake, the little cake is growing in popularity. They are quick and easy to prepare, are much more attractive then muffins and can be further enhanced by decorating with simple icings and syrups. Enticing and charming, the versatility of the little cake means it can double as the perfect dessert. It's not surprising that smart little cakes are featuring on cafe menus all around the world.
