Lynda Hallinan is a New Zealand gardening writer, broadcaster, columnist and television presenter. The editor-at-large of NZ Gardener magazine, she also writes a weekly column in the Sunday Star-Times and chats to Jack Tame every Saturday at 10.40am on NewstalkZB.Lynda lives at Foggydale Farm in the Hunua Ranges, south-east of Auckland, with her husband, Jason, and two young boys, Lucas and Lachie, plus 14 free-range (as in somewhat wild-eyed) Limousin cattle, three dozen sheep, eight chooks, two kunekune pigs, four cats and two dogs. Her expansive (and ever growing) spray-free garden boasts more than 300 fruit trees, 40 vege beds and enough flowers to fill a small florist shop. This is her fourth book.
